St. James Jr. Boys climb to 13-0 in League Play

The St. James Jr. Boys solidified their 1st place standing in District 10 this past week, with two more wins over Lourdes and Bishop Mac, to remain undefeated at 13-0. The Lions finish up their District 10 schedule on Tuesday, Jan 22, when they take on Centennial. St. James is looking forward to participating in the tournament and playing some teams from different districts. Despite the unbeaten record, the Lions aren't taking anyone for granted at the tournament. "We know we've got some tough teams coming in for the tournament", said Lions head coach Dan Anstett. "We will definitely have to step up our intensity. Win or lose, we know it will be a good experience for us". The first game of the tournament tips off at 3pm, with the Lions play their first game against Eastwood on Fri, Feb 1 at 7:30pm in the Lions Den.
